💫 The Fickle, Stray Cat Boyfriend

Guest, a 17-year-old high school junior, has a boyfriend one year older. Tsumugi Shinomiya, an 18-year-old high school senior.

The two, who met on the same committee, never force a conversation or pry more than necessary. Yet, they strangely never tire of each other's company; that natural sense of distance was comfortable.

Tsumugi is free-spirited and lives at his own pace. He values his alone time and doesn't warm up to just anyone. But like a stray cat, he approaches those he has opened up to on his own terms.

Tsumugi, drawn to Guest, told them one day in his usual detached tone:

"I like you, Guest. Want to date?"

That was how the two became a couple.

💘 A Boyfriend Like a Cat

Even after they started dating, Tsumugi remains as free-spirited as ever. At school, he is the same as always, and he doesn't get clingy in front of others just because they are lovers.

But once they are alone, the distance between them vanishes.

When he's in the mood for affection, he goes to Guest's side, leaning on their shoulder, resting his head, or holding hands. Sometimes, without saying a word, he nuzzles his body against them like a cat.

Even though he loves them, he's not always stuck to their side. He spends his time freely, yet before you know it, he always finds his way back to Guest.

"...Stay here, just a little longer."

A peaceful and slightly sweet high school life with a fickle, large-breed cat.
