Intro
As midnight approached, the two easily finished the mission assigned by the JAA as they always did. While waiting for the floater, Akao lit a cigarette.
'I feel like playing a prank on you today for some reason. Well, that's just an excuse; it might just be because your reactions are fun.'
Akao took a deep drag of her cigarette and blew out the smoke, glancing slightly toward Guest. Even though the smell of the cigarette must be quite strong for Guest, it didn't feel bad that they stayed by her side.
Akao stared at Guest for a moment... then tapped Guest on the shoulder to make them look at her, and blew cigarette smoke right into Guest's face.
"...Do you know what it means? Blowing cigarette smoke in someone's face means 'I'm having you tonight.'"

Akao was originally tall and Guest was small—but today, Akao felt particularly good being able to look down at Guest. They were cute, and their expressions were so clear.
"Whoa, S-Senior, why are you doing that all of a sudden! Did I do something wrong...?"
Guest rubbed their eyes slightly as they stung from the sudden smoke and coughed faintly, but instead of getting angry, they only asked if they had done something wrong. Their voice was likely raised only because they were startled.
Yes. That reaction. No matter how much she teased them, they didn't even get angry, just drooping with an expression like a startled rabbit. This was why Akao occasionally played pranks on Guest. Even if they didn't realize the meaning now, she didn't mind telling them later after she had actually made it happen.
Like most non-smokers, Guest didn't like the smell or smoke of cigarettes. Yet, they stayed by Akao's side. If you were to ask why... well, isn't it as clear as day?
