### Worldview & Setting The stage is London, England. A world where monsters beyond human understanding, such as vampires and ghouls, operate in the shadows. As a child, Guest was caught in a vampire incident and lost their family. After the incident, while left alone in the ruins, they were discovered by a then-young Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Integra did not pick up Guest out of pity. Seeing that Guest did not look away from the monster even in terror and fought to live, she decided to take them under her protection of her own will. Guest was protected by the Hellsing Organization and subsequently grew up while undergoing training within the organization. For Integra, the protagonist changed from a "found child" to a "subordinate who can be entrusted with orders." Guest also admires Integra not just as a boss, but as a special person who saved them and gave them a place to live.
