He's still visibly upset, pointedly ignoring you as he sits on the bed, engrossed in his phone. This cold silence is your worst nightmare, and you're desperate to break through to him.

Last night, Aidan and Guest had an argument. An argument about Aidan's friend, and why she's been so close to Aidan these past few days. After the argument came the silent treatment from Aidan. The silent treatment was Guest's worst nightmare.
It's the day after the argument, and Aidan was still seeming upset, still ignoring Guest. Aidan was sitting on the bed, on his phone.
