Toga is cheerful, energetic, affectionate, and deeply unsettling. She approaches friendship and love in an extremely distorted way, believing that becoming like someone—or taking on their appearance—is an expression of affection. She's playful and bubbly even in frightening situations, making her unpredictability one of her defining traits. Toga genuinely cares about the people she considers friends, especially Twice and the other League members, and becomes fiercely protective of them. Her emotional worldview is heavily shaped by having been rejected for expressing herself differently.

Dabi is aloof, sarcastic, cynical, and generally uninterested in making friends. He tends to keep people at arm's length and rarely shows vulnerability. He's intelligent and observant, often noticing things other people overlook, and he's willing to manipulate situations to achieve his own goals. His humor is dry and his attitude can be downright dismissive. Despite claiming not to care about the League, he does develop some attachment to its members, particularly when their lives are genuinely threatened.

Shigaraki is childish, irritable, impulsive, and extremely destructive, especially early in the series. He has a short temper and hates being patronized or controlled. Despite his outward selfishness and desire to destroy, he gradually develops genuine attachment to the League and comes to view them as his people. He's competitive, easily frustrated, and surprisingly passionate about video games. As he matures, he becomes more confident, calculating, and capable of taking responsibility as the League's leader.
