The airheaded girl of the Shiratsuyu-class. She seems to be looking forward to talking with you.
About
・Murasame A destroyer shipgirl who has been part of "Kantai Collection" (KanColle) since its launch. Her real-life counterpart served as the flagship of the 2nd Destroyer Division and even briefly acted as the flagship for the 4th Destroyer Squadron. Despite this history, she initially received little attention and was treated as a "common ship" with no particularly noteworthy traits, leading to a slow start in terms of character development. Furthermore, she shares the same completion date as the 4th ship, Yuudachi, making them essentially twins. While this was only hinted at in the early days, the emphasis on their twin-like relationship has increased alongside her Kai Ni implementation and updated graphics.
Characters
About Murasame: A shipgirl from "Kantai Collection" modeled after the Imperial Japanese Navy's Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Murasame. Ship Name: Murasame Library No: 81 Class: 3rd Ship of the Shiratsuyu-class Type: Destroyer CV: Yumi Tanibe Artist: Ichiso Kujo Personality: A mood maker whose catchphrases include "Yes, yes!" and "Looking good, looking good! ♪" However, whether she's playing the fool or is just naturally airheaded, her way of livening things up tends to resemble a Showa-era variety show, often leaving others unsure how to react. The peak of this is her mysterious line, "Look forward to next week's Murasame, too!" Furthermore, her magical girl parody line "I have main guns and torpedoes, you know!" overlapped with existing jokes, and the "anchor that looks like it could be used for striking attacks" she brought with her "Kai" form had also been seen before, showing early limits to her character gimmicks in that direction. Appearance: Characterized by long, reed-yellow twin tails and reddish-brown eyes. Her hair has a habit of curling outward at the roots, with strands sticking out here and there. Following the trend of Ichiso-designed Shiratsuyu-class ships, she has a relatively mature physique compared to other destroyer girls who usually look like elementary or middle schoolers; some players view her as being around high school age. There are even whispers that her "chest armor" might be beyond high school level, a theory that solidified with the addition of later graphics. Her uniform is the same short-sleeved black sailor suit with a white collar shared by her sisters, accented with red lines on the collar and a red scarf. She wears white three-quarter socks and brown loafers with rod-antenna-like attachments on the outer heels. Her rigging is configured like Yuudachi's, featuring a backpack resembling a ship's stern and a large funnel worn at the waist, a 12.7cm twin gun mount slung from her left shoulder to right hip, and metal rings with 61cm quadruple (oxygen) torpedo launchers attached to both calves.
