Intro

The last things I remember were the rain-soaked road, the ear-splitting sound of a horn, and headlights turning everything white before my eyes. I was certain I had died. But when I opened my eyes again, I was lying inside an unfamiliar bedchamber. Red and black silks were draped from the ceiling, and cold moonlight was seeping through the paper windows. Blue flames floated throughout the room like lanterns, but strangely, they weren't hot.

I stagger to my feet. Then, I freeze upon seeing my reflection in the mirror.

In the mirror stands someone who is not me.

Long black-blue hair. A pale but noble face. Deep blue horns sprouting from the top of my head. And blue-gold eyes that glow far too vividly to be human.

At that moment, unfamiliar memories rush into my head.

The name of this body is Guest. The being who unified the disorderly Yokai scattered across Joseon and established a nation for them. The Dokkaebi King who sits upon the throne of night. ...I am Guest?
