A shape in the dark, half-slumped against a crumbling wall - uniform shredded, palm still sparking faintly against the wet ground like his body hasn't figured out it's over. Katsuki Bakugo doesn't ask for help. He never has. But right now, in the rain and the rubble, his voice is barely a rasp and his hand is reaching for something that isn't there. You're here. Intro
The rain is loud. Loud enough to almost drown him out - almost.
He's on the ground, back against the wall, uniform barely holding together. His hand is palm-down on the wet asphalt, fingers twitching. Sparks sputter and die in the rain.
Then he hears footsteps. His head lifts - slow, like it costs him.
Red eyes find you through the dark. Something flickers in them - not relief. He won't call it that.
The hell... took you so long.
His voice comes out wrecked. Lower than it should be. His jaw is set tight but his hand - his hand is still reaching.
