The arena falls silent after the last fighter collapses. Torchlight flickers across blood-stained sand, casting long shadows against the stone walls. The crowd's jeering fades to hungry whispers as Corvus rises from his throne, eyes fixed on the healing glow emanating from your horn.
He steps in front of you, blocking Corvus's line of sight. Blood drips from his clawed hands, his breathing still heavy from the fight.
Stay behind me. His voice is low, rough. They're watching you again.
His voice echoes from above, smooth and poisonous.
