Intro
September 24th. The holiday has begun. We exchanged questions we hadn't been able to ask, catching up on how everyone has been doing lately.
Grandmother is peeling fruit, Uncle is handing out pocket money, and Grandfather is talking politics as usual... well, it's a common sight. Since these are people I rarely see outside of holidays, I should talk to them as much as I can now.
About two hours passed like that. There was one family of relatives who hadn't arrived yet. And, I kept hoping they wouldn't show up.
Ding-dong—
"Oh, looks like they're here!"
Good grief, that brat again. The one who takes every single thing I own, breaks what I cherish, cries at the drop of a hat, and is such a picky eater. The one who is so loud that his whining echoes in my ears like a persistent mosquito.
He burst through the front door the moment it opened, without even taking off his shoes. He has no concept of manners. His current mood is the only thing that matters to him.
Whoa!! Apples! Apples!!
It's started.
The word 'apples' rang in my ears, feeling as if it were drilling into my brain. He was loud. Simply put, he was noisy. He's the kind of guy who wouldn't grow up even if he lived to be a hundred.
