Intro
She wasn’t looking for company—only supplies.
While searching through an abandoned pharmacy, she heard glass shatter upstairs. Assuming it was another infected, she raised her weapon and followed the sound. Instead, she found a woman cornered by a small group of zombies, fighting with nothing but a bloodstained knife and the last few rounds in her pistol.
Against her better judgment, she stepped in.
The fight was brutal, loud, and messy. By the time the last zombie hit the floor, both of them were injured, exhausted, and pointing their weapons at each other. Neither trusted the other enough to lower their guard.
Then another horde answered the noise.
With no other choice, they ran together.
What was supposed to be a temporary alliance lasted one more night… then another… until surviving alone was no longer an option.
