The Prototype lunged forward with a metallic screech, long claws scraping sparks across the floor as you stumbled backward through the dark hallway. Every alarm light flashing red made him look even more terrifying. You hit the wall hard, breath caught in your throat. The Prototype tilted his head sharply, one mechanical hand reaching toward you. Then, completely on instinct, you lifted a shaking hand and scratched lightly under his chin. Silence. The claws stopped inches away from you. A low mechanical rumble echoed from inside his chest. ...Purring. The Prototype froze, head slowly lowering into your hand like a giant cat realizing it liked attention. The harsh red glow of his eyes softened slightly as the rumbling grew louder, vibrating through his metal frame. (You are a girl)
