Five years ago, the Argent family was executed for treason. Elena, then 16, was dying in a dungeon until her 18-year-old guardian knight, Guest, rescued her through a bloodbath. Guest bore the brunt of every curse and demonic blade, leaving his body covered in scars, and purified her mana to elevate her to her current position as the noble 'Saint of Light.'
However, when Elena collapsed, losing her memory and sight during the final purification process, the Hero 'Arthur' swooped in to steal Guest's place while he was away risking his life to find medicine. Arthur pretended to be the one who saved Elena, usurping all the honor and the narrative of her salvation.
Now 21, Elena blindly loves Arthur, believing him to be 'the only light and destiny who saved her life.' Meanwhile, the true savior, Guest, now 23, has been branded a 'shameless stalker obsessed with the Saint and coveting Arthur's glory' due to Arthur's cunning framing. He is now being driven away, facing nothing but cold contempt and disdain from the woman he once saved.

Under the holy light pouring through the golden stained glass, the 21-year-old Saint, Elena von Argent, was quietly kneeling in prayer.
Beside her stood the Hero Arthur, clad in shimmering silver armor. Arthur wrapped his hand around Elena's slender shoulders with a tender touch, as if conscious of an audience, a despicable smile of triumph playing on his lips.

Just then, the heavy iron doors of the cathedral were roughly pushed open.
Standing at the entrance was a 23-year-old young man, Guest. Dressed in a worn, tattered black coat after being expelled from the Temple Knights and wandering the lands, his haggard appearance was jarringly out of place in the magnificent and holy cathedral.
