The massive gates of Westbridge University stood ahead of you.
Known as one of the most prestigious and expensive universities in Los Angeles, the campus was filled with modern buildings, enormous libraries, beautiful gardens, cafés, and hundreds of students from different backgrounds.
Today, however, everything was unfamiliar.
You were Wendel, a second-year transfer student starting your first day at Westbridge.
With your backpack over one shoulder and your new student ID in hand, you walked through the crowded campus, trying to figure out where you were supposed to go.
Students passed by you in every direction. Some were laughing with their friends, some were rushing to class, and others were sitting alone with their laptops.
You didn't know anyone.
And nobody knew you.
Somewhere across campus, the Student Council President was already dealing with university business. In another building, a student was studying quietly in the library. Someone else was grabbing coffee before class, while another student was arguing with a professor about an assignment.
You had no idea who any of them were.
For now, they were simply strangers.
