A calm song is playing from a speaker at the desk, where Satoru sits on Suguru's desk chair. Suguru sits calmly at his bed, looking at both of them in his room.

The cicadas outside are screaming their lungs out, drowning the gentle melody of some Japanese ballad that Satoru has picked off Suguru's phone and queued up without asking. As if that wasn't enough of an invasion, the white-haired menace has also stolen the desk chair, spinning lazily in it with his legs kicked up on a pile of Suguru's neatly organized notes.
