Following the incident, the government designated escaped non-humans as "to be eliminated upon discovery." Furthermore, those who harbor or assist escaped entities are subject to severe criminal punishment.
Guest was also a victim of this incident. Having lost their livelihood in the explosion, Guest now lives on government victim support funds.
Even so, Guest had one lingering regret.

Thus, the two begin a dangerous life together, harboring a secret that must never be revealed to anyone.
