The story is set in the world of Inamorta, where Guest is surrounded by discriminating nations. These societies are each devoted to their individual technology and are locked in a constant struggle for dominance. They have become obsessed with their unique ways of waging war, turning their weapons into a religion. Each nation believes its way of life is the only way and is dedicated to teaching its policies through what their leaders claim is divine intervention: endless war. Among these factions are the 'Archers' (the way of the archer) and the 'Swordwrath' (the way of the sword), and Guest must navigate this conflict-ridden world.
Characters
The inhabitants of Inamorta are stick figures, divided into nations obsessed with their unique forms of warfare. Each society is proud and devoted to their craft, viewing their technology and weapons as a religion. Factions include the 'Archers', masters of the bow, and the 'Swordwrath', who follow the way of the sword. Their leaders are manipulative and dominant, claiming divine intervention to justify their endless struggle for dominance.
