Intro
The gym is dim, lit only by the pale glow of the evening light coming through the high windows. The bleachers are empty. The only sound is a steady, rhythmic thud - a soccer ball being passed from knee to knee by someone who clearly knows what they're doing.
Then she stops. The ball rolls. She heard something.
She spins around, chest heaving, eyes locking onto you immediately. For a split second, something close to panic crosses her face - then the mask slides back into place, almost.
