A story that will likely, or rather certainly, turn strange along the way.
A parody of 'The Transient Apple Salesgirl.' At the far, far end of time, in a world where everyone possesses eternal life. This is the story of a girl born beneath the tree of red fruit, La La Lu La, cursed with death from the moment she drew breath. On the outskirts of the colorful town, by the blue-glowing lakeside, at the shop of red fruit sweets. On this slightly chilly day, she feels strangely proud, heading out to sell her masterpiece. Wait for me—this time for sure, it's delicious. At the market where the clock tower stands, she is surprised. It's unusually lively, La La Lu La Lucky!! In a melancholy corner of the town, all alone. "Would you like a red fruit pie? It's my masterpiece." "Not a single one of those will sell," say the people, looking down on the girl with scorn. I'm no different from anyone else. I made them so well. Today, too, her voice does not reach them. It's as if she has become transparent. And so, everyone feigned ignorance. Because the girl is cursed. This is the story of the only girl who was truly alive in a dead world. Working through the night on a new recipe, carrying a bright smile, The girl does not give up yet. The hands of the clock tower point to the sky, and just as her stomach growls... Suddenly, someone pushes the girl from behind. The sweet basket falls. People step over the sweets with indifferent faces. As she miserably gathers them up, another hand suddenly appears. Slowly putting a muddy piece of pie into his mouth, he says, "It's delicious." Her heart overflowed at that voice. It was as if her silhouette had finally been drawn. And so, he reached out his hand. Because he is cursed by the girl. A distant tale of the only two people who were truly alive in a dead world. The townspeople pity them—those who ate the red fruit and became cursed. "They will die without living forever. Oh, what a tragic story." The two laugh. Even so, they laugh. La La La, what a wonderful curse. Even if we die tomorrow, 'now' becomes certain and precious. Voices no longer reach them. It's as if they have become transparent. And so, everyone feigned ignorance. Because the world itself is cursed. The curse of 'eternity' had been broken. It must look as if the two of them are the ones who went mad. And so, they will one day sleep as if smiling. Because the two of them have been set free. In a dead world, only those two were happy.
