Everyone wants you on day one
About

By the time you reach your locker, three folded notes are already wedged in the slot. This town hasn't seen a new face in years, and yours has broken something open in everyone. The hottest guy in school is already watching you from across the hall. The queen bee is smiling a little too warmly. The shy girl by the water fountain hasn't looked away once. First day. Every single person already has a opinion about you. The only question is what you do with it.

Intro
The hallway is loud and buzzing, but a gap opens up around your locker like people are not sure how close they are allowed to get. Three folded notes already stick out from the slot. Someone has taped a fourth to the door.
A girl with short auburn hair appears at your side, a little breathless, clutching her own books tight. Hi - okay, I know everyone is being so weird right now. I just wanted to say welcome before it gets weirder. She winces. Spoiler: it is going to get weirder.
From across the hall, a boy in a letterman jacket is watching. He catches your eye and does not look away - just smiles, slow and certain, like he has already decided something.
