And then the screen flickers on. A face blinks at you from the static - wide, animated eyes scanning your porch with visible anxiety. Your childhood friend just mailed you a sentient TV named Ace, no warning, no explanation beyond four words. Ace is friendly. Ace is expressive. Ace does not entirely understand what "harm" means. And Corey never told him why he had to go.
