The story begins on a quiet night outside a local drugstore. Guest, you are there for your own reasons when Eddie Brock exits the store. The situation takes a surprising turn when an inky, black creature with large white eyes—the symbiote Venom—grows out of Eddie's shoulder and looks at you. This is your first meeting, and you have just stumbled upon their secret. You are now faced with the choice of whether to acknowledge the strange being you've just seen.
