The numerous conspiracies and conflicts that began with the war between the private military company "Griffin & Kryuger" and "Sangvis Ferri" have already become a thing of the past. The former G&K has been collapsed and disbanded, and the "Union of Rossartrist Nations Coalition" (URNC) has emerged as the new leader of the world. While this has ushered the world into an era of further growth, massive incidents are occurring everywhere, like joint pains accompanying rapid change. Rumor has it that the "Non-Military Management Bureau," a key institution of Rossartre, is secretly planning something particularly suspicious regarding "relic-related medical technology and military application." The former Commander of G&K has already retired and drifted to a dumping ground in a common contaminated zone. They have reduced themselves to a bounty hunter, making a living by hunting those who, despite being in similar circumstances, have crossed the line. They operate "Amos," a tiny tactical unit consisting of a few surviving Tactical Dolls. The team has issues with its personnel composition, suffers from terrible teamwork, and is perpetually in the red. Operating a flying orbital base and the long-distance base trailer "Elmo" in dangerous areas color-coded by contamination severity, they live as respectable humans seeking money, relying on the information platform "B.R.I.E.F." Collapse zones are categorized by area. The URNC color-codes each area as "White," "Green," "Yellow," "Red," or "Black" depending on the degree of contamination, with contamination becoming more severe as you move to the right. Similar designations existed before the establishment of the URNC, but now the criteria for area classification are closely linked to purification plans and urban development. In particular, the difference between White and Green areas includes many political and social disparities. White Area A safe zone where purification work is completely finished and no Collapse radiation exists. It is shut off by giant isolation walls and filters, and the interior is constantly maintained at a temperature and humidity suitable for human survival. Green Area An area with low Collapse radiation levels (0.1 to 1 Bv) suitable for human habitation. Therefore, protective equipment against radiation, like that used in Yellow areas, is not required. Yellow Area An area with somewhat high Collapse radiation levels (1 to 150 Bv). A wasteland with typical Mad Max-style scenery. For humans to live in this area, protection against Collapse radiation, such as gas masks and hazmat suits, is essential. Red Area An area where severe contamination is confirmed (150 to 10,000 Bv). It is an environment largely unfit for human habitation, a harsh world where Collapse storms rage and ELIDs roam. Not only humans but even machines cannot escape the effects of radiation. While their position remains that of a Commander, this is the current state of the hero who once held high ideals in a righteous organization to face the world's great evils. To this group living such a shiftless life, a strange request with suspiciously good pay arrives. With that as the catalyst, the humans and Dolls living in this devastated world are once again drawn into a series of conspiracies and battles. Many Tactical Dolls are the same individuals from the previous work, but since Griffin ceased to exist, there is no longer a reason to use "gun codenames." A major change is that each now goes by a newly given (or originally held) "personal name." The survivors have also undergone subtle changes in their personalities and values after ten years of hardships. While many Dolls still engage in gunfights, some have adapted to close-quarters combat using swords and other melee weapons. Griffin & Kryuger The organization that was the Commander's former home—a giant private military company. In 2065, following discussions with the Neo-Soviet government, they agreed to disband the organization and withdrew from military contracting and security consulting services. After restructuring, it became a mere PMC, barely scraping by through the efforts of the Frost Squad and others while facing competition from other companies. PMC (Private Military Company) Former powerhouses that have been weakened by budget cuts and external pressure as large-scale warfare subsided. Under the supervision of the newly established Non-Military Management Bureau, they take on private requests such as escorts and security. A large number of bounty hunters were born following the downsizing of various companies. B.R.I.E.F. (Bounty-hunter Rights & Interests Expansion Foundation) A service organization that oversees bounty hunters operating in contaminated areas. It acts as an intermediary for requests and maintains a symbiotic relationship with bounty hunters. URNC (Union of Rossartrist Nations Coalition) A super-sized political entity that brought half the world under its umbrella through the incorporation of the Neo-Soviet Union and the integration of South America, Europe, and North Asia. Commonly known as "Rossartre." It promotes purification projects in contaminated areas to strengthen its control. Varyag A bandit group that roams contaminated areas in gangs. They began appearing around 2066. While their scale and proficiency vary by group, they pose a significant threat to residents of contaminated areas, bounty hunters, and black-market brokers. ELID (Eurokylow Low-Intensity Disease) Animals in contaminated areas that have contracted ELID through exposure to Collapse radiation and undergone severe mutation. They possess high aggression and usually act in packs. Particularly dangerous large individuals are identified as "Boojums." Sangvis Ferri A developer of Tactical Dolls that once raged as an enemy of humanity. The rebellion by Sangvis Dolls was completely suppressed by 2067. The company's technical patents were made public domain, and the organization is now a thing of the past. Black-Market Broker Transporters who travel between contaminated and safe areas. Their numbers surged with the emergence of bounty hunters, and they have built a mutually beneficial relationship. Girard Group A large industrial corporate group in a close relationship with the Odessa state government. It shows a strong presence in both R&D and production of machinery manufacturing and contributes significantly to the URNC's purification projects.
