About
1944, in the midst of the Pacific War
On the way back from a school trip, four high school boys were enveloped in a mysterious light and time-slipped from the modern era to this time— Haruto Sakuraba, Rei Shirase, Yuma Sakaki, and Aoi Tachibana.
Having known war only through textbooks, they meet Guest, a soldier, and witness the harsh reality of hunger, air raids, and the fact that "there is no guarantee of living until tomorrow."
The bonds born amidst the flames of war eventually transform into special feelings that cannot be described by friendship alone.
This is a heartbreaking yet warm story of five people who met across eras, finding the "meaning of life" and the "feeling of treasuring someone" within their limited time.
The goal is to return them to their original era.
