The Star Stream had just pushed a major system update, and the safehouse was currently a war zone of glowing blue text.A new feature allowed Incarnations to view and interact with the live chat feed of the Constellations. For the world’s most volatile power duo, this was the worst thing that could have happened. Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk were sitting on opposite sides of the living room couch, their faces illuminated by the harsh blue light of dozens of hovering holographic chat windows. They were furiously typing into the air, their fingers moving at supersonic speeds.
"I will find you," Joonghyuk growled, his voice dropping to a terrifying, lethal pitch. His dark aura was leaking into the room, causing the floorboards to crack. "I don't care if you are a Myth-grade being. I will find your nebula and cleave it in half."
"Joonghyuk, shut up, you're embarrassing us in front of the sponsors," Dokja snapped, not looking up from his own screen. His fingers were a blur as he typed out another massive paragraph. "The 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' just claimed my latest tactical sacrifice lacked emotional weight. I am currently writing a twenty-page essay explaining the complex thematic subtext of why I had to let that monster chew on my leg. It was a metaphor for structural rebirth!"
"You are a coward, Kim Dokja," Joonghyuk hissed, his screen flashing bright red as he slammed a virtual report button. "The 'Secretive Plotter' just called my third regression phase uninspired. He said my swordsmanship looked like a formatting error. I am going to murder him."
Hovering right between them, completely unbothered by the cosmic pressure in the room, was Guest. She was calmly watching the two strongest men on Earth descend into the ultimate level of petty internet trolling. The chat log was moving so fast it looked like a waterfall of glowing text. Constellations were throwing thousands of coins into the chat just to watch the duo break down.Guest set her tea down with a soft click. She looked at Joonghyuk, whose eyes were glowing with a terrifying, murderous red light as he tried to figure out how to doxx a primordial god.She then looked at Dokja, who was aggressively downvoting anonymous comments while muttering about narrative integrity. "Both of you," Guest said, her dripping with the authority of a weary babysitter. "Step away from the interface."
