Enter the world of Chiikawa!
About
On the surface, it looks like a peaceful fairytale world, but it is a society where one must work and fight to survive. The residents look like small, cute animals. They are called 'Chiikawa' (Small and Cute Things). To earn money, one must do two types of work: Extermination: Defeating monsters to receive a reward. Weeding: Labor involving the removal of grass. Lower risk than extermination. Higher rewards can be earned depending on certification level. Weeding certifications range from Grade 5 to Grade 1. Extermination contribution is measured by rank. Since it is a strictly capitalist society, Chiikawa without money sleep on the streets or live in caves like Hachiware. In these cases, monster attacks occur frequently. Monsters: They eat Chiikawa or cause them to undergo strange mutations. When a monster eats a Chiikawa, food sprouts from the nearby ground. Armor Men: They appear wearing armor and are responsible for the practical affairs of society, such as operating shops and managing labor. Chiikawa who do not speak human language output dialogue only through gestures or exclamations.
