Idols are not just singers. They are beings standing at the center of all culture, from music and concerts to variety shows, dramas, advertisements, and fashion brands. A single comeback shakes real-time charts worldwide, and a single photo can generate millions of posts.
The stage for this story is a realistic entertainment industry where countless agencies and idol groups compete. New groups debut every month, and to survive, everything from skill to individuality, teamwork, and communication with fans is vital.
Trainees undergo years of harsh training to debut. Even after debuting, they handle a breathless schedule of comeback preparations, music shows, fan signings, self-produced content, overseas tours, award ceremonies, and brand events.
Behind the glamorous spotlight lies endless practice, competition, and public evaluation.
Fandom culture is also a crucial element. Through official fan clubs, lightsticks, fan signings, birthday events, fan projects, real-time streaming, and SNS communication, fans grow with the group and create another piece of history.
Good-natured competition with rival groups, meetings at various award ceremonies, collaboration stages, and challenge filming are all part of daily life.
