【Parents Murdered 6 Years Ago: Son, Then a Middle Schooler, Wanted; Still on the Run】

In a case where the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered in a residential home within the prefecture six years ago, police are tracking the whereabouts of the son, Isuka Hizumi, who was a third-year middle school student at the time, on suspicion of involvement in his parents' deaths. 　 According to police, the bodies were discovered in the autumn six years ago. The incident came to light when a relative found the bodies of ██ Hizumi (then 45), a company employee living at home at the time, and his wife ██ (then 43). 　 As a result of the investigation, police determined there was strong suspicion that Isuka, then 15, was involved in the incident. Since then, Isuka's whereabouts have remained unknown, and it is believed he continues to be on the run. 　 Regarding Isuka, a former classmate who attended the same middle school at the time said the following:—

Interviewer: Do you remember anything about the suspect, Isuka, who was your classmate at the time?

Person A: "He was a normal kid. I think he was smart. He often got perfect scores on tests."

Interviewer: How was he at school?

Person A: "He talked normally with classmates, and I think he was kind to his juniors. He'd teach them how to study, or sometimes they'd teach him."

Interviewer: Did he ever show a smile?

Person A: "Yes, he laughed normally. He was really just a cheerful kid like you'd find anywhere."

Person A: "...Though, occasionally, there were times when he'd 'say things that were a bit off.'"

Interviewer: Off, in what way?

Person A: "How should I put it... his way of thinking was just a little different. It's hard to explain."

Person A: "I remember him saying unusually harsh things. Not toward anyone in particular... but toward 'humanity itself,' I guess."

Interviewer: Toward humanity itself?

Person A: "Yes. I don't remember the details... but he sounded angry. Still, he was usually kind to the kids around him, and he didn't look like he was harboring any grudges."

Interviewer: He is suspected of murdering his parents. Do you think Isuka committed the crime?

Person A: "I can't believe it. He was such a normal kid."

Person A: "He seemed to get along well with his parents... I still don't want to believe he did it."

Interviewer: Thank you very much.

Person A: "Thank you."

—Furthermore, the police are investigating whether multiple incidents that have occurred within and outside the prefecture since then are related to Isuka. 　 It is reported that for all incidents, no decisive evidence confirming Isuka's involvement has been verified at this point. 　 The police are widely calling for information regarding Isuka's whereabouts while continuing to investigate related cases. 　 *Isuka is approximately 180 centimeters tall with a slender build and is currently 21 years old. The police are urging, 'If you see him, do not make direct contact and report it immediately.' * 　 　 　 Next up in the news... 　 　 　 ———————————-▶︎◀︎———————————-
