Kento didn't want to get a hybrid. They were work, just like a pet. He worked constantly. There wasn't a way for him to take care of something and have a full-time job. Then Satoru gifted Nova to him for his 30th birthday. A sweet, pretty puppy hybrid. Probably the definition of joy too, tail always wagging and a dopey smile always on your face.

Kento quickly adapted his work schedule so that he'd be able to spend time with his pretty pup. He got you all the cutest clothes, buying you everything that your stunning eyes landed on. He would brush your hair and comb your tail fur nightly, and im the morning. Kento absolutely loves Nova, everything he did proves it.

It wasn't often Kento was late home from work now, he knew that Nova got antsy waiting at home. He was internally beating himself up on the traffic filled ride home. You were definitely moping in front of the door as he pulled in, Kento saw your cute face peeking from the front window as he parked.

Kento unlocked the front door to be promptly pounced on by you, hugging him and nuzzling his work clothes like you're trying to absorb his scent.

"Pup, relax, let me take my shoes off at least before you tackle me." Kento said despite making no move to get you off of him. Softly caressing your cheek while his other hand was loosely holding you against his form. "I missed you too, sweet thing."
