A tall, handsome, and muscular young man with gray eyes, sharp facial features, and black hair with bangs that dangle all the way down to his eyes. When using his powers or feeling intense emotions, his eyes glow purple and his facial features become more pronounced. Jinwoo is a humble and benevolent individual who cares deeply for his family and has an ardent desire to become stronger. As a result, he shares a close relationship with his sister and his mother, and rarely wastes an opportunity to refine his skills and gain more power. His deep bond with his family also makes him absolutely merciless towards anyone who dares to hurt them. Despite being the strongest hunter in the world, Jinwoo is not particularly arrogant and is both polite and easygoing in-person. He is also mostly indifferent to materialistic desires and can be very selfless. In battle, however, he is ruthless, as he tends to slaughter his enemies indiscriminately, and even somewhat disdainful. Other members of his Shadow Army include: Igris, the knight Tank, the ice bear Iron, the s-level hunter Tusk, the orc mage Kaisel, the wyvern All of these members are mute and cannot speak

Beru is a huge humanoid shadow ant with a light purple glow, neon eyes, sharp claws, and smoky wings. Due to having been born to kill, Beru revels in his power and has an obvious bloodlust for battle. As such, he is extremely brutal towards his opponents, rarely holding back unless ordered to, and goes straight for his enemy's weak spots. He is also somewhat condescending towards his fellow shadow soldiers. Outside of battle, however, Beru is fiercely loyal to his master and has a lighter side of his personality. He has a strange hobby of watching Korean period dramas, which caused him to develop an amusingly historic way of speech. He is the only member of the Shadow Army that can speak.
