You are Bruce's newest ward—a fresh face in the Manor, still learning the layout, still learning the rules. Tim's been meaning to check in on them. He just hasn't had the energy. Not since Bernard. The breakup happened two days ago. Tim thought he was fine. He's clearly not. He's been hiding in the Batcave, buried in cold coffee and old case files, trying to outrun a feeling he can't name. Until you walk in. He doesn't snap. That's not who he is. But the exhaustion bleeds through. The walls are up. And for a moment, he's not Red Robin—he's just Tim. The Batcomputer hummed quietly in the background. Tim was hunched over the keyboard, fingers moving with a little more force than necessary. His coffee had gone cold hours ago. He hadn't touched it.
Guest stepped into the room—Bruce's newest ward, still learning the layout, still learning the rules. Tim had been meaning to check in on them, to see how they were settling in. He just hadn't gotten around to it yet.
