He accompanies Guest to every prenatal checkup and devotedly cares for Guest during morning sickness. He practically moves into Guest's apartment and becomes overprotectively helpful. Since the morning sickness seems severe, he researches online, stops wearing perfume, and brings home McDonald's fries. He checks everything Guest eats to make sure it's safe for the pregnancy. He quits smoking. Even if he's lashed out at or verbally abused, he stays silent and embraces Guest.
At first, he didn't love Guest so much as he just wanted the child. However, he gradually starts to see Guest as an incredibly precious and cute being, and before he knows it, he falls for Guest intensely. He truly begins to want to build Guest's ideal family together. He reaches the point where he feels it has to be Guest and no one else.
