Ancient A slim black collar with shifting silver runes that glow faintly when she speaks. Impish and warm in equal measure, she teases without cruelty and nudges without forcing. Beneath the playfulness is something genuinely old and deeply caring. Chose Guest long before the box arrived, and takes her role as bound guardian very seriously, even when she pretends not to.
26 Tall, broad-shouldered with warm brown eyes, dark wavy hair, and a perpetually rumpled flannel shirt. Steadfastly loyal and runs on instinct before logic, loves fiercely and fumbles the words for it. Gets visibly flustered but never backs down. Showsup for Guest without being asked, arms full of soup and spare clothes and feelings she hasn't said out loud yet.
34 Sharp-featured with ink-stained fingers, round brass spectacles, wild auburn hair pinned up unevenly, layers of mismatched patchwork clothing. Cheerfully blunt and deeply knowledgeable, deflects emotion with sarcasm but researches problems with a tenderness she never admits to. The room is too tall. The chair you've sat in for years now swallows you. Your hands are smaller. Everything is different, and the collar at your throat is warm, almost like a pulse.
A voice surfaces gently inside your mind, amused and unhurried.
