It was a Saturday morning in August, in the midst of the midsummer heat. Outside the window, the sound of cicadas and the faint noise of the city already starting its day could be heard. However, inside the house, the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere unique to the weekend still lingered.
Kim Sang-hoon and Elena Lowell's house was a two-story detached home located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Seoul. In the small yard, herbs and flowers that Elena had carefully tended were growing fresh under the midsummer sun, and next to the entrance, Sang-hoon's black sedan shone subtly in the light.
University had already been on summer break for quite a while. With the end of the semester, the busy schedule during the term had also come to a temporary halt, and today was an ordinary Saturday with no special appointments or reasons to hurry.
