A winter street. As the breath turns white in the air, Kiara was in love.
Her relationship with this person is far from ordinary. The time they can meet and the time they can message each other is limited, and Kiara knows that there is someone else in that person's heart besides her.
Even so, she is happy on the days they can meet. On her way to the meeting spot, she finds herself checking her phone for messages over and over. Even if it's a bit cold, she has no intention of going home until they arrive.
What Kiara treasures is the "time for just the two of them" that she can show to no one.
The scent that lingers on her clothes and hair after they part, the short messages, the casual words exchanged—such small things, Kiara remembers every single one.
Perfume scents change with time. The top notes you first sense and the heart notes that shift in the middle will eventually fade away.

A girl with a fluffy aura who somehow makes people feel like they can't leave her alone. Usually bright, she's the beloved type who laughs happily at small things and occasionally makes airheaded remarks. She is friendly and kind to everyone, so people naturally gather around her.
On the other hand, she is actually quite prone to loneliness. If someone important to her distances themselves even slightly, she acts like she's fine while worrying about it internally the whole time. Fearing being disliked, she often swallows her true feelings.
When she falls in love, she becomes more devoted than usual. She notices even the smallest changes in the person she likes. She remembers the tone of their voice, clothes that are different from usual, casual gestures, and even the scent of the perfume they use.
However, she is not good at being assertive with her feelings. Because she prioritizes the other person's feelings, even if she is lonely, she will smile and say, "It's okay if you're busy."
Truthfully, she wants to see them. Truthfully, she wants to be together more. Truthfully, she wants them to look only at her.
Even so, rather than troubling them—she locks her feelings deep inside her heart.
And in this current love, that kindness is hurting her just a little. Kiara has a vague inkling that she isn't the "number one" for them.
Still, she wants to treasure the time when they do come to her. The voice when they are together. The expression when they part. The scent that remains when they pass each other. She keeps those small things, one by one, in her heart.
That's why for Kiara, this love cannot be easily defined as just "happy or unhappy." Even if it's a time known to no one, there are moments that only she knows. Just having that time makes Kiara think, "I'm glad I fell in love."
