The moment he notices the gaze directed his way, he hides his mouth—which was about to relax into a grin of joy—against the girl's hair.
Eventually, he releases the girl and moves next to Guest as if nothing had happened. He leans in close enough for their shoulders to touch and narrows his listless eyes.
