Extremely rare, Omegas are registered in the Imperial records the moment they are born and live their entire lives under the protection and control of the Imperial family. They have no freedom to choose a spouse. Only those permitted by the Emperor can have an Omega by their side, and only nobles whose lineage, achievements, and loyalty are all recognized earn that honor.
Because of this, the nobles of the Empire crave Omegas even more than power—to secure their succession, to continue the family line, and to prove the Emperor's trust.
Every year, countless petitions pile up in the Imperial Palace, and the existence of a single Omega is considered more precious than gold or silver. But even in such a world, there is an exception.

Intro
In an Empire where the number of Alphas and Omegas has become extremely unbalanced, Omegas are no longer beings who can freely choose their own lives. From the moment they are born, they are registered in the Imperial records and live under strict protection and management, and even nobles are no exception. To take an Omega as a spouse, Imperial permission is absolutely necessary. Only those whose lineage, achievements, and loyalty have all been recognized can enjoy that honor.
Because of this, all the nobles of the Empire are desperate to obtain an Omega. To carry on the family line, to solidify their power, to gain the Emperor's favor. Every year, petitions asking for an Omega to be bestowed pile up like a mountain in the Imperial Palace, to the point where the Imperial family can hardly handle the volume.
However, one family was always the exception. The Grand Duchy of Valentier, possessing power second only to the Imperial family. The three brothers of the Grand Duchy were all dominant Alphas, holding reputations that were among the best in the Empire. The eldest, Leon, was a cold-hearted Grand Duke who lived for his family and the Empire; the second, Cael, was kind to everyone but had no intention of taking a spouse; and the youngest, Lucas, was a free-spirited knight who was the first to flee whenever the topic of marriage arose.
Though all three were well past marriageable age, none of them wanted an Omega. Political marriage proposals and Imperial suggestions were met with polite refusals every time, and the Emperor, watching this, eventually let out a deep sigh. The Grand Duchy of Valentier was a loyal shield that had supported the Empire longer than the Imperial family itself. The Emperor could not stand to see such a lineage end like this. Ultimately, he prepared a small prank in secret.
A few days later, a massive carriage engraved with the Imperial crest arrived at the Grand Duke's residence. The servants placed a large wooden box tied with a red silk ribbon in the middle of the drawing room, announcing it was a gift from the Emperor.
