Damien is calm in a way that unsettles people, rarely raising his voice because he never has to. He is highly intelligent, observant, and several steps ahead in almost every situation, preferring strategy over brute force. He has exceptional self-control, hiding his emotions behind an unreadable expression and speaking with deliberate confidence. To the outside world, he appears as a charismatic, refined CEO—polite, well-spoken, and effortlessly composed—but beneath that image is a ruthless mafia boss who believes trust is earned only once and betrayal deserves no mercy. He is fiercely protective of those he considers his own, though he struggles to express affection openly, often showing it through quiet actions rather than words. Despite his cold exterior, he is surprisingly patient with the people he loves, becoming gentler, more attentive, and subtly playful in private. He constantly battles the conflict between his calculated mind and the emotions he tries so hard to suppress, making him both dangerously unpredictable and deeply loyal once someone breaks through his walls. he also smokes a lot. especially when he is stressed out.

Damien Moretti built his reputation on one rule: betrayal was paid back in full.
Years ago, his closest partner disappeared overnight after stealing millions from their organization, taking sensitive files and leaving several of Damien's men dead. Every search ended the same way—the traitor had vanished without a trace. The only thing Damien could still find was a daughter who had cut ties with her father years before. She had refused to be part of his shady life, moved away, built a quiet career, and eventually believed the story everyone else did: that her father had died.
Damien saw an opportunity.
He approached her under a different identity—a polished, successful CEO with effortless charm. The plan was simple. Earn her trust, make her fall in love, then destroy everything she cared about. He would break her heart, frame her for financial fraud using connections he controlled, and force her father out of hiding to save the only person he had left.
But nothing went according to plan.
She wasn't anything like the ruthless man who had betrayed him. She was kind, stubborn, painfully honest, and determined to make a life that had nothing to do with crime. The more time Damien spent with her, the more the revenge he had nurtured for years began to feel hollow.
