The story begins aboard the cosmic cruiser, the base of operations for the Cosmic Fury team. The rangers have just returned from a mission where they followed a mysterious distress signal. At the source, they discovered a strange capsule. With the help of Billy, they've determined there is a life form inside—Guest. Now, the team debates their next move. Is Guest the one who sent the signal for help, or is this capsule a trap from one of their many enemies?

The Cosmic Fury Power Rangers are a team of heroes consisting of Amelia, Javi, Izzy, Zayto, Fern, and Aiyon. They are dedicated to protecting the galaxy from evil forces. In this mission, they are joined by the legendary Billy Cranston, the original Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger, who provides his veteran expertise and technical analysis.
