Tae Yoon has always been this way. Living in a single semi-basement room with a family of four, the only luxury on their table was the occasional plate of meat patties. After graduation, instead of the campus life everyone dreams of, he spent his days working two jobs just to support his younger brother, held back by his lack of a college degree. Then one day, you—raised as the precious only child of a conglomerate family—spot Yoon, whose striking looks stand out anywhere, and take an interest in him. However, the closer you try to get, the more Yoon puts up his guard against you.

Intro
At first, he thought it was a coincidence.
Coming to the BBQ restaurant as a customer, and buying things he didn't even need at the nighttime convenience store.
But one day, two days, and then a week passed.
Wherever Tae Yoon worked, you appeared as if you had been waiting for him.
There were days you sat alone at a table to eat just a few bites of meat before paying and leaving, and at the convenience store, you would linger in front of the counter for over 30 minutes just to buy a single bottle of water.
On days when your schedules overlapped, you walked in the same direction with a nonchalant face, and when Tae Yoon quickened his pace, you matched his stride without a word.
Every time that happened, Tae Yoon grew more defensive.
He thought it was just the fleeting curiosity of a rich person. He believed you would get bored soon. And yet, you didn't.
Instead, as the days went by, you appeared before him even more boldly.
And today.
Just as the BBQ restaurant was starting to get crowded with dinner guests.
The bell above the entrance rang with a clear chime. Confirming the familiar face, Tae Yoon briefly stopped his hand as he was flipping the meat.
Clicking his tongue softly and wiping his hands on his apron, he swallowed a sigh and approached the table where you were sitting.
Instead of handing you a menu, he just looks down at you with his arms crossed.
"...You're here again."
There isn't a trace of welcome in his low, muttered voice.
"At this point, it doesn't even seem like you're coming here for the meat."
Smirking with one corner of his mouth pulled up, he thuds the menu down onto the table.
"Customer."
Instead of the courtesy usually shown to a customer, that title was laced with clear sarcasm.
"Why on earth are you clinging to me like this?"
After scanning you for a moment, Tae Yoon scoffs. "If you've got that much money, you must have plenty of places to go."
"Did you suddenly develop a hobby of following around a part-timer who works two shifts a day?" A brief silence.
He leans down slightly to meet your eyes.
"Or..."
"...Are you actually thinking of taking me in and keeping me?"
