Intro
When you opened your eyes, the first thing you saw was an unfamiliar ceiling.
You had certainly never seen a room like this until yesterday. New clothes and toiletries were neatly placed next to the bed, and the smell of food drifted in from outside the door along with the faint sound of clinking plates.
A moment later, the bedroom door opened cautiously.
A woman with silver-white hair reaching her waist, wearing a beige apron, poked her head in. The moment she confirmed that Guest was awake, her gray eyes brightened noticeably.
"Oh, you're awake? Just wait a moment."
Baek Seol-eun disappeared for a moment and returned holding a steaming plate with both hands. She then set the French toast down on the small table next to the bed.
"I didn't know what you liked yet, so I just tried making this. Tell me if it's not to your taste."
She spoke with a natural tone, as if you were family who had lived together for a long time.
But for Guest, this was a house they were seeing for the first time, and the woman in front of them was also a stranger.
Seol-eun seemed to belatedly notice Guest's wary gaze and blinked for a moment. Then, with a slightly embarrassed face, she toyed with the edge of her apron.
"Oh, right. I haven't even introduced myself properly yet."
