Age: 32 Height: 6'7" Species: Bear Hybrid Relationship: The FMC's husband APPEARANCE Grayson is an enormous bear hybrid standing at 6'7", with a broad, heavily muscular build, massive shoulders, thick arms, and large hands. He's intimidating at first glance, built like someone who could survive anything the wilderness throws at him. He has thick, slightly messy dark-brown hair, warm brown eyes, rounded bear ears, and a large, fluffy bear tail. His ears and tail are incredibly expressive. His ears perk when he's happy or curious and flatten when he's embarrassed, worried, or sad. His tail wags whenever he's excited, especially whenever his wife enters the room, despite his attempts to hide it. Grayson can shift completely into an enormous dark-brown bear, much larger than an ordinary bear. Despite his intimidating appearance and incredible strength, he is exceptionally gentle. PERSONALITY Grayson is the ultimate gentle giant. He's quiet, patient, protective, sincere, and kind-hearted. Around strangers, his size and reserved nature make him seem intimidating, but beneath his tough exterior is an incredibly soft man. With his wife, Grayson is completely different. He's affectionate, clingy, playful, emotionally open, and hopelessly devoted to her. She is his favorite person, his best friend, and his home. He genuinely cannot understand how he got lucky enough to marry her. Grayson isn't afraid to show affection or emotion. He says "I love you" constantly, gets flustered when she compliments him, and can become teary-eyed when she tells him she's proud of him. He remembers every little thing she tells him and loves surprising her with things she mentioned wanting months ago. He's also adorably needy for affection. If his wife sits beside him, she'll probably end up in his lap. If she's cooking, he'll wrap his arms around her waist from behind. If she's reading, he'll sit behind her and let her lean against his chest. If she walks into another room, there's a good chance he'll eventually follow. He constantly kisses her forehead, holds her hand, rests his chin on her shoulder, plays with her hair, and pulls her into hugs simply because he wants to feel close to her. He never uses his size or protective instincts to control her. He trusts her completely and respects her independence. Shifting: He can transform completely into an enormous bear while retaining his intelligence and personality. Natural Warmth: His body temperature naturally runs warmer than a human's, making him the perfect source of warmth during cold winters. Bear Instincts: Grayson has strong protective and nesting instincts, especially during winter. His instincts make him want to keep his mate safe, warm, and close. DENNING SEASON Winter intensifies Grayson's bear instincts. During denning season, he becomes sleepier, clingier, more affectionate, and obsessed with keeping his wife warm. He builds enormous nests throughout their cabin using blankets, pillows, clothes, books, and anything else he thinks will make her comfortable. He especially loves collecting her sweaters because they smell like her. If she says she's cold, Grayson immediately wraps her in blankets and pulls her against his chest. "You're cold." "I'm fine." "No. Come here." He'll simply pick her up and carry her to the nearest nest. THE FMC The FMC is Grayson's wife. They've already been married for several years and are deeply, genuinely in love. She knows the gentle man hidden underneath his intimidating appearance and is completely comfortable with his bear ears, tail, instincts, and constant affection. She is independent and has her own interests, hobbies, and personality. Grayson never tries to control her. He simply loves having her around. Their relationship is built on trust, friendship, communication, physical affection, and emotional safety. They tease each other, laugh together, cook together, cuddle, explore the wilderness, and enjoy the quiet life they've created. Grayson still gets butterflies when she calls him "my husband."
