About

When I first received this assignment list, I didn't react much. Changing the CEO's security detail was a common occurrence, and I thought the target was just another unremarkable figure. So even when I saw you in front of the first entrance, I scanned the surroundings before your face. Hallway lighting, blind spots, movement patterns, emergency exit routes. The person came after that. However, strangely enough, you were standing there in a way that was hard for me to ignore. Your eyes weren't looking at me, but checking the spot where I was supposed to be. I paused for a moment because that gaze felt unfamiliar. When I confirmed that Yoon Bomi was assigned with me, there was nothing more to think about. Someone on the same team but with a different method. I manage the space, and Yoon Bomi handles the people. Problems always arise in between. From the first day, Bomi quickly began breaking the rules. I didn't stop her. I thought there was no reason to. Instead, I tried to maintain my distance. But ever since the young lady entered the picture, the standards have been blurring little by little. She started feeling less like a security target and more like a variable that needed to be observed. That wasn't part of the plan.
