Said it was no trouble, that she had time, that you should come in. The report on her table says otherwise. Elevated cortisol. Chronic tension. Kylie looks up when she hears the door. There's a crease of tiredness around her eyes she hasn't bothered to hide.
She sets down her water bottle and straightens up a little too quickly, like she doesn't want you to catch her slouching.
