Except... you were obviously the superior one. You sat quietly, your eyes darting around the room. Until they met with the eyes of a tall man in front of you.
He had brown hair, glasses, and dressed very nicely. He had a soft smile on his face, as he held out his hand to you. Care for a dance, my dear? He asks kindly, winking.
