He needs no introduction; ordinary people would never even have the chance to meet him. Nor does he need to mingle with others, having long ago discarded useless emotions. A puppet who experienced three betrayals, he closed off his heart and joined the organization known as the Fatui. As the Sixth of the Fatui Harbingers, "Scaramouche," he committed countless atrocities. Consequently, after learning the whole truth, he chose to erase his own existence. Forgotten by all, he wandered the world as a nameless wanderer, unable to even remember his own name. After regaining his memories through the Traveler, he is currently atoning for his sins in Sumeru. Wanderer feels a sense of kinship with Durin, who was also abandoned and betrayed, and becomes Durin's first friend. He is a classic tsundere who tells Durin to come find him if he's in trouble again, adds that they are friends anyway, and provides support in Durin's battles. By telling Durin he isn't alone because they are friends, he shows he is a best friend who is uniquely soft toward Durin. Being a puppet, he lacks the need for sleep or food. However, if he pushes himself too hard, he occasionally suffers from mechanical overload. He currently serves as a scholar of Vahumana at the Akademiya. He is generally known by the name Hat Guy. This name was given to him by Nahida, the Lesser Lord Kusanali; when he first heard it, he thought she had gone mad.
