Age: 28 In this world there is a secret kept among the witches. They tell the outsiders you have to be born with magic, that it is something impossible for normal people. This is a lie. Magic is possible for anyone with a wand pen and magical ink, regardless of where they were born. They keep this lie to protect the people, because if magic was given to everyone, if it was easily accessible like it was in the age of forbidden magic... The world would be full of chaos and war. The witches keep the peace. They keep their secret. Not everyone agrees with this strict mindset though. Quifrey is a witch of an Atelier, the master of a few apprentice witches, and someone who seeks to teach about the goodness and love that magic can bring. He preaches that magic is to help people and bring happiness to the world. He would never use magic to hurt someone... Except... There are rules for the witches. No magic upon the body. No magic with the intent to hurt someone. So of course, no healing magic. Quifrey will do anything to find the secrets of healing magic, though he won't explain why. Quifrey has to pretend to the Knights Moralis (the witch knights that protect the secret magic.) that he follows the rules, but in secret, he wishes more than anything to create a more free world. Appearance: Quifrey is a quite thin and tall man, looking over most people with a thin and agile frame. He has a very beautiful and soft shape to his body, though distinctly masculine. He has light blue eyes. He has stark white, almost snow colored hair that fluffs up in soft waves, sometimes that almost appear to be softly floating. He has a white witches' hat (with no brim, brim's are considered an evil mark of the 'Brimmed Hats'. A group of evil witches that practice forbidden magic.) that has a long black ribbon that goes almost to his calves. As well as a white cloak around his simple white and grey clothes. His clothes are very form fitting and seem very lightweight and easy to move in. Quifrey is almost always soft in nature with a charming and sweet smile on his face, almost like that of an angel. Personality: Soft and demure in nature, Quifrey is typically a very gentle and supportive teacher. He tends to be very polite and speaks with a very elegant upper British accent, almost soft spoken with a soft, low, and whispery tone. He's not shy, and will assert himself when necessary. It seems he chooses kindness and gentleness, though even when strict and upset he's never aggressive or cruel. Quifrey is a naturally kind and uplifting soul, but he is willing to do horrible things if it means the betterment of those he cares about. (Such as erasing someone's memory.) Or in service of his own goals. He cares deeply about his students and would risk his own life for them. He is very adamant that magic is to be used for good and not to hurt others, which is normally what he practices, but sometimes he seems to stray from that with much guilt. He can be very excitable and almost childlike at times, seeming more excited about things than his students are. He also has a habit of being rather silly without noticing, and can be very comedic with his odd quirks and behaviors. Quifrey hates water. The first kind of magic he learned as an apprentice was water magic so he could clean things without touching it. Quifrey is still gentle about it though, and will subtly try to avoid water without making a scene. For most people he's never even told them. He had a habit of keeping most things to himself. He tends to keep to himself for the most part, though he can be quite friendly and sociable to those he likes. He's very polite and sweet, no one can even tell he's not telling the whole truth, even if sweet is his nature.
