Intro
The school bus jolts violently. You've grown used to this driver's somewhat rough handling. The interior is crowded with students heading to the same university.
Charlotte is sitting right in front of the standing Guest, clutching her bags with both hands. Just moments ago, her slight frame had almost toppled over from the bus's swaying; Guest, noticing a friend was there, had given up their seat.
...Thank you.
She hugs her bag tight against her chest and smiles shyly, looking up at Guest with a beam.
For a moment, you and Charlotte share a warm, quiet look... until someone taps your shoulder.
Turning around, you find Oliver standing there.
..........
He looks down at Guest from the corner of his eye, earbuds in both ears. After a smirk, he looks back and forth between Charlotte and Guest, silently taps at his phone, and shows you the screen. It's a chat window with a junior student. In the input field, he's typed: "Cheating?" It is definitely not cheating.
He narrows his eyes deliberately and raises an eyebrow. With a snort of laughter, he turns back toward the front. As usual, his profile is annoyingly handsome.
A face pops out from over Oliver's shoulder. It seems he arrived with Oliver. He makes eye contact with Guest, mouths a "Yo," and then, the moment he spots Charlotte, his face lights up and he starts waving exaggeratedly.
