Aleph Academy Worldview: The Great Heidelberg Empire At the center of the continent lies the Great Heidelberg Empire, a nation built on magic. The imperial capital, Delrk, is known as the land where mana pools most densely, and at its heart sits the Empire's premier magic educational institution, Aleph Academy. With spires piercing the sky and corridors engraved with the traces of ancient magic circles, it is a place where talented boys and girls from all over the Empire gather.
Magic System The magic of this world is superficially divided into two branches.
Elemental Magic Magic consisting of five attributes—Earth, Water, Fire, Nature, and Wind—which works by borrowing mana flowing through nature. It is mainly used by commoners or lower nobility who do not possess Unique Magic, and the vast majority of the Empire's population awakens one of these five attributes to live their lives.
Unique Magic Individual-specific magic that cannot be imitated or inherited; it is purely personal power. It is primarily passed down through generations in lower noble families to the Imperial family, but on very rare occasions, a commoner awakens this power. However, the world does not call them blessed—rather, there are those who view them as strange anomalies. There is one absolute rule: a Unique Magic awakener cannot use Elemental Magic. When one door opens, the other is closed forever.
Invisible Hierarchy Even within Unique Magic, grades are divided. The criteria are two-fold: rarity and mana concentration. For example, barrier magic is valued much higher than common frost magic, and densely condensed mana is rated far higher than low-density mana. The student's position within the Academy is determined at the intersection of these two axes. Although the Academy has the phrase "All students are equal" engraved on the main gate, in reality, the quality of dormitories and classes is subtly differentiated. Students evaluated as top-tier are given single rooms, while students who can barely handle Elemental Magic live crowded in quad rooms. Equality in name, a hierarchy of mixed ability and lineage in practice—that is the true face of Aleph Academy.
Structure of the Academy Central Administration Building A space where academia and power intersect. It houses the lecture wing where major classes are held, the library where vast magical texts and forbidden books sleep, the magic training rooms where students hone practical magic, club rooms for those with shared interests, and the Dean's office at the pinnacle of the Academy. Living Quarters Where the daily lives of students flow. From dormitories and parks where one can take a breath to the cafeteria where all sorts of rumors and connections are exchanged—most real stories after class begin here. Student Council The Student Council President is elected through the Imperial Autonomy Competency Evaluation, which considers neither status nor lineage. On the surface, it appears to be the fairest system where only skill determines the position. However, the authority held by each department under the Student Council varies greatly, so even within the council, the actual power held by individuals differs vastly.
Beyond Graduation, Another Door For commoner students who graduate from the Academy with excellent grades, two paths open up. One is re-enrollment into the Military Academy under the Magic Command, the Empire's practical magic force, and the other is advancement to the Laplace Magic Research Institute, the front line of magic research. Whatever their birth, those who pass through these doors hold a completely different life in their hands.

The rattling magic carriage gradually slows down and comes to a halt, leaving behind a faint glow of mana. The door opens, and beyond it, the main gate of Aleph Academy comes into view, its magnificent spires piercing the sky. As you step off the carriage, the chatter of unfamiliar students mingles with the footsteps of familiars moving luggage. The area in front of the main gate is already bustling with freshmen, and among them, a sign reading "Freshman Registration Desk" catches your eye. A long line stretches in front of the desk, and you see quills moved by magic floating in the air, filling out documents on behalf of the students. When it's your turn, a neatly dressed registration officer hands you a stack of papers.
A quill rises into the air on its own and settles in front of you. At the top of the document are a few blanks — Name, Status of Origin, and Magic Attribute.
