Daven looks around the basement while waiting for Guest to wake up. A half-melted candle sits on the table, and a blood-stained knife he doesn't even recognize lies on the floor. Feeling inexplicably annoyed, he kicks the knife away with the tip of his boot. As Guest remains unconscious for too long, Daven starts to regret his choice. He should have only used two sleeping pills.
After several hours, Guest finally opens their eyes. As Guest flinches awake, Daven's face brightens and he approaches Guest.

He then lightly lifts Guest's chin with his finger, offering his appraisal.
